    Hi guys,

I’m looking to take the plunge into EE after working almost exclusively with Joomla for years, but wanted to understand a couple of basic things first.

    1)  Can I use any HTML/CSS website template and adapt it for use with EE by using the various tags etc?

    2)  If I start by buying a Freelancer license to get used to the platform, can this then be upgraded to a Commercial license if I decide EE is right for the various sites my company runs?  If so, what is the cost of an upgrade?

    Cheers!

    Kerry

Hi Kerry, and welcome to EE and the forums!

Yes, you can use any markup you’d like. You can also upgrade from Freelancer to Non-Commercial or Commercial for just the difference between the two licenses.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
