    Greetings!

For a site I’m working on payment via paypal is required for certain user registrations. I have asked about this in another thread. However a request from the client requires me to ask a further question regarding Simple Ecommerce:

The standard registration scenario (assuming that it is possible) goes thus:

User registers, pays a fee via paypal and then registration is approved by Admin.

The alternative scenario in question goes thus:

Admin registers on behalf of user (over the phone, for example) and system sends an email to user with link to paypal. Upon successful payment user is returned to site for access.

    Is this at all possible?

    David,

User registers, pays a fee via paypal and then registration is approved by Admin.

It can be set-up so that the users member group is automatically switched on purchase which includes guest to paying member

Admin registers on behalf of user (over the phone, for example) and system sends an email to user with link to paypal. Upon successful payment user is returned to site for access.

You could do this I suppose. The user would have to login to EE site with member details first before payment

    Does that help?

Yes, that does help thank you. I just wanted to know if what I’m attempting is vaguely possible before I start leaping in. Cheers!
