A client would like to send an automated email to certain member groups when a new posting is made to a particular channel. I see where I can enable notifications and where I can enter individual email addresses - but that is not practical for member groups. Is there some way to do this?

MX-Notify Control looks promising.. see if that will work for you. I queried on notify to find this.

Hi Sue - thanks for this, but unless I am missing something it sends to a comma separated list rather than allowing the use of Member Groups as recipients, so it will not help. I had seen this when I did my own search and have not been able to find any add-ons that will do what I want.

Snitch Member Groups did this, but I don’t think it’s been ported to EE2, sorry.
