Hi,

I am really trying to get my head around hooks, but I find the documentation really lacking.
Basically, this is what I want to do:
On submission of a new entry, contact another database, update an entry field and then add the data to the expression database.

Does a hook in Expression 2 allow me to do that?

seems quite likely this is what you want… Although i would prefer more documentation in the hooks… this one seems quite well labelled!

Am so used to needing this functionality from the front end I forgot to check the control panel hooks - doh!
