I need to change the mapping to the upload directory where I have article images, but I can’t find or remember where I went in the control panel to modify this setting.

Currently I have it mapped to a sub folder and I want to map it to the parent folder.

    Thanks!

    Hi, Jules.

Try: EE 170 ›  Admin ›  Weblog Administration ›  File Upload Preferences

    Does that help?

    Hi Sue

    I don’t think that’s what I’m looking for.

When I’m adding an image to an article I can browse to the server. Currently it is mapping to the child directory “img” in the “uploads” folder.  I want to change the mapping so that it opens the “uploads” folder so I can see and have access to all the child folders within “uploads.”

    uploads > img

    Hi, Jules -

That should be in one of your File Upload preferences.  Did you check those for the path you’re looking for?

If it’s not one of those, are you running any extensions? You can check those in Admin > Utilities> Extensions.

    Hi Lisa

That was it, I’m using the Wygwam addon and I found the option to choose the “Upload Directory” in the edit custom field interface.

    Thank you for the help:-)
