I am wondering if there is a way to hide the CREATE section in ControlPanel?  I have a site where all pages are single entry channel values and I do not want my client to be able to PUBLISH a new entry to say the HOME channel as it is never going to be seen on the site.  Is there a way to diasble PUBLISH on a channel while still allowing MODIFY/EDIT,or is there a way to hide the CREATE section completely?  I was thinking I could add a CREATE tab shortcut on navigation instead or something.  I am just trying to streamline the user experience for a client.  Any help is apprreciated.

What is recommended to streamline the user experience for sites like this where PUBLISH is not needed?

Hi, Bryan. Your best bet would be to look over on Devot-ee.com to see if there’s something there.

There used to be 3rd party extensions in EE1.x, but I’m not sure about in 2.x.

    Does that help?
