We’re using {path=template_group/template} in a lot of entries. Works fine on the first site. But when those entries get pulled into the second site, they don’t refer back to the first default_site, they refer to the root url of the second site (which results in a 404). This is a shame. Is there any way around this without hardcoding all those links with an absolute url?

Can you check that both site paths are correctly defined?
Having site_short_name in the path might also work.
