    Hi There,

We have a client running EE 1.6.9 Build 20100430.

I am a member of the ‘Super Admin’ Member Group and I have set my client up as an ‘Admin’. When she is logged in she would like to create members on the site. When she is doing this her created members status are going straight to ‘Banned’.

    Can you help?
    Gareth.

Have you made sure that is not, in fact, the default member group for new users? What happens when you switch it to “Members”?

The default member group is members. Is there something else I need to check?

Are you using the Blacklist in any way? You might also want to consider upgrading to EE 1.7.

    Hi there,

No I am not using the blacklist. Can you please suggest any other options to get this issue sorted before upgrading? Surely this functionality works in 1.6.9? I just need to get it configured.

I can send you CP access if you would like to have a look for yourself. It may be easier this way.

    Thanks.

About all we can do at this point is ask if you’re using any sort of third party add-ons. Can you elaborate?
