Entry status switching to Closed

    I’m hoping this is an easy fix.

    I have an entry that was created by the Administrator and the status defaults to “Open”. When a regular user from a different user group updates that entry it automatically sets the status to “Closed”.

    Is this happening because the updating user did not originally create the entry?

    Hi, ibuck. Double check that the channel in question has a Status Group associated with it. That’s normally the cause.

    Does that help?
