    Hello,

I’m building a site for a company, who’d like to have a private page/section for their customers. Each customer needs te have its own page after login with details about current cases and where the company can place update about their case. I think this might be possible with EE, but I don’t know how to start. I’m currently using EE1, but planning to upgrade.

    Thank you.

    Hi Marc,

This is possible but the complexity depends on what constraints you might have for making each user the author of any documents that are pertinent to him/her. The Weblog module (and the EE 2.x Channel module) can display only entries that are authored by the logged in user. These customers of course do not actually have to have authored these documents because you can assign them to individuals in the Options tab when Publishing/Editing.

If this is not going to be possible then there are probably 3rd party addons on Devot://ee that can help you with this.

And finally, you could certainly do this by either writing a module or indeed just using PHP in templates.

    Cheers

    Greg
