    I see that one can do this:

    {embed="siteA:global/footer"}

    But how can one do this (inside an {exp:weblog:entries…} tag, of course)?

    {url_title_path="siteA:news/entry"}

    I tried it, and it just outputs a link to the (nonexistant) “www.example.com/siteA:news/entry/an-article” template group + template…

    I am afraid that is not an option. You might want to use global variables here, perhaps snippets?

    Michael,
    How are you getting on with this?

    Sorry, was sick for a week.

    The site is on EE1, so snippets aren’t an option for me. Naturally what I really want is for you guys to code in the feature that I need… what selfish creatures we are.  😜 I’ll give global variables a try tomorrow and let you know. Thanks for looking in on things. 😊

    I think I’m having a similar “problem”.

    Just so I’m clear, when I have a tag like this

    {exp:channel:entries channel="news" site="siteB"}
    <a href="http://{url_title_path=news/entry}">{title}</a>
    {/exp:channel:entries}

    should I get a url like this:
    http://www.siteb.com/index.php/news/entry/url_title
    or will it always use the domain the current template exists within? In this case:
    http://www.sitea.com/index.php/news/entry/url_title (which doesn’t exist).

    Seems like it should obey the site parameter and switch domains to use that one.

    Thanks for any clarification.

    box-head,

    I can replicate this but I don’t think it is a bug. You are welcome to make a feature request though.

    As a workaround I usually use {comment_url_title_auto_path}.

    That way you can specify the the path for each channel associated with each site
