Templates mixed up in MSM site

I have an EE2 site running the MSM (multiple site manager). I started earlier today with 2 sites in there, A and B. I wanted a 3rd site, which needed to be an exact copy of site A that I could then develop separately. So, I created a new site, and used the “site manager” to do that. I picked all the channels, templates, entries, etc from site A to be duplicated over into the new site. (duplicated, not moved).

But, when I look at pages in my new site (site C), I can tell that it is really pulling in templates from site A. (when i make edits in the A templates, those edits show up in site C).

Am i correct in thinking that I would make copies of the A templates and they would then be copies that would show up in site C? Edits to the C templates do now show up at all.

I don’t have that many templates. SHould I just delete all the C templates and manually create them?

Hi, Rory. Are you editing the templates as files, or inside the template editor?

I actually got someone to help me with this so I’m all set. It had something to do with editing my index.php file to set it up for use with the MSM. Or something. Not that I understood it at all.
    So, case closed. Thanks!
