Is there a way to add a few top level menu items to the control panel for all users? I found this post http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/146211/ but it didn’t really address the issue I have. I simply want to be able to make a few shortcuts available to all admin users who login. Thank you!

Hi, Mindshare. You’d need to copy over the values in your quick_tabs field to other persons. Unfortunately there isn’t any way of automating this.

Do you know where those settings are stored in the database? Maybe I can come up with an SQL statement to apply the changes to other users.

Hi, mindshare. The table involved is the exp_members table. I’m sorry I didn’t mention that earlier.
