    I’ve a MSM-installation with two website running: A and B.

After upgrading to EE1.70 just website A is accessible in the Control Panel. Website B is shown in the site-list, also in the site-manager, but the CP doesn’t change to website B after clicking. So I cannot edit or add entries for website B, nor can I change the templates and all the other parts for B.
In other words: the link http://website.com/system/index.php?S=1754831736f2bd44bbc2023decf7defda3b1bc5b&C=sites&site_id=3 doesn’t do anything. The link to site_id 3 is not working.

The problem exists only in the Control Panel. When I visit de url of website B it is shown.

A few minutes before upgrading this MSM-installation I upgraded another installation. With that website there are no problems (same server).

    MSM-version is 1.1

When you upgraded to 1.7 did you overwrite any of the MSM files?

    Check for these files:

Upload core.sites.php to your system/core directory.

Upload cp.sites.php to your system/cp directory.

Upload lang.sites.php to your system/language/english directory.

Never argue with success, even if you can’t explain how it came about.
