sorry before if my question is repost from any question here.

yea, im a very newbie in this stuff (codeigniter framework)  😊
but i want to try some script that i got from wrox, professional codeigniter (i also have the book in pdf format) 😊

i got some files i’m downloaded from http://www.wrox.com/WileyCDA/WroxTitle/Professional-CodeIgniter.productCd-0470282452,descCd-DOWNLOAD.html

there i found a file called claudiaskids.rar that extracted into claudiaskids folder and claudias_kids.sql
im copy this claudiaskids folder to C:/wamp/www/
and also import the database claudias_kids.sql with phpmyadmin
i think that i can simply run this script easily
but i found this error

Unable to connect to your database server using the provided settings.

what was the mistake i’ve done?
any parameter or settings that i’ve must change from config folder from that bunch of file i’ve downloaded?

umm ... then im import claudia_kids.sql to the database
and i’ve found this warning,, what shoud i do?

In PHPMyAdmin, create a database first. Make sure you have a user and password with access to that database. Select that database on the left, then select “SQL” at the top, and paste the sql code in.

In my case when i try to run the codes the url paths redirected from the link don’t work…
don’t know the reason why…i have checked the config files, everything seems alright
