Hello Fabulous People of EECMS. (It’s clear I only speak in twitter hashtags now, is it not?)

I’d like to invite you to place your announcements here for this week. As friday rolls up, I’ll gather notes from around the web and build a roundup post. However, I often miss some amazing gems simply because there are so many of you doing great things and only one of me trying to hunt and find them all.

So I want to extend this forum to you for consideration on the roundup.

An EE site STORM London Watches (Australia) that I designed/developed managed to pickup an Australian Web Award in early November in the Online Retail category for the WA (Western Australian) region.

And another site I was involved in designing/developing as a result of a larger marketing program was Top Trails WA. Also built in ExpressionEngine, it picked up a Bronze Model in the WA (Western Australia) Tourism Awards in the Tourism Marketing category.

Interesting to note that both websites’ content was completely authored by the clients, showing how easily it is for non-technological people to quickly get up to speed with content authoring when you remove the requirement for them to think about how it will need to be displayed…but just focus on the content and its semantic structure where required (ie. in ‘Body’ fields).

Our redesign for Camden Military was featured in .net magazine this issue. In addition the front end design, we talk about the massive EE setup so they can manage everything from the content down to the sidebars and callouts.
