First let me say I don’t know if I picked correct place to post this. There doesn’t seem to be a specific area devoted to extensions but maybe I missed it. If I picked wrong just let me know and I will post in correct spot.

Anyway, I have LG TinyMCE installed and now the EE file uploader won’t work. Well it works in that it uploads the file, but it does not place the link code in the post area. Has anyone had a similar problem and found a solution? I’ve contacted the developer but haven’t heard back yet and just wanted to see if anyone else had already found a solution. I’ve got latest versions of both (well, latest version 1EE).
Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

Ok, apparently the built in file uploader does not work with TinyMCE. The developer suggested buying Moxiecode file manager.

Hi, johnboat. Support for third party add-ons can be found either on the developer’s site or on Devot-ee.com, depending on how they’ve set things up. We don’t have a specific section for anything more than announcements for new add-ons.

Sounds like you do have a solution of sorts, Don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
