After an uneventful upgrade from 1.6.9 to 1.7, my control panel home is blank. I can go to every other page of the cp and the version is show as 1.7. My site seems to be OK. But when I got to cp home, or click the link on the cp, I get a blank page.

Hi Barry,
Can you please make sure that debugging is switched on Admin > System Preferences > Output and Debugging Preferences so that you can see any generated PHP errors. I would also make sure that you have copied over the system/plugins directory properly. Is the pi.magpie.php file in place and with the correct permissions?

Thanks for the help. Once I turned on debugging, it was clear that the Google Analytics plugin was missing a file from lib/
I dread problems like this every time a new release of EE comes out.

A handy hint that I use myself is to keep a text file in your root which lists any changes made to the core of EE which includes third-party folder integration.
