Hi all!
Maybe a bit ‘nerdy’ question - but, here it comes.
How much thought are you giving when buying a new keyboard?
Let me elaborate on that one.
For me, keyboard must have following features:
- Backspace key must be wide (not a single button); this because I always erase things with two fingers (goes much faster) 😊
- Enter must be single wide button, not that mirror L type; because above enter is then backslash and I can find it more easily 😊
- Insert / home / page up and Delete / end / page down must be together, in two rows by 3; I can find them ‘blind’ then and I do not have to search / look for them. I use these mainly for linux (shell) for copy & paste as wel as for coding to go at first character in line (or last);
- those little things behind the keyboard (stands?) which can make keyboard stand up a bit, must not be too large; i preffer to hold my hands ‘low’;
- I hate ‘natural’ keyboards 😊
So, my keyboard must meet these requirements. I also had a discussion at my new position regarding this (when my new PC was ordered) 😊
At home, on my girlfriends PC is another keyboard and I very often make mistakes on it :(
So, do you care about keyboard - or can you work on anything? 😊
Cheers,
Smilie
