Is there a way to bypass the generic (ugly) “thank you” page that is displayed after the tell-a-friend form is submitted? I would like to use an jQuery/Ajax thank you message to match those on my comment and contact forms, but there does not seem to be a way around displaying the built-in “thank you” page. I know I can redesign the template, but that’s not what I want here.

    Hi xlawdog,

This may be possible with some development but I’ll move this thread to the CodeShare Corner since it’s more appropriate there.

    Cheers

    Have a look at http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/custom-system-messages/
though I’m not sure if it’ll do for the tell-a-friend form.
You can always contact Brian at http://boldminded.com/ to check.
