    Hi

I am redesign all my domains, were i have put a website on.

I own 30+ domains, some are redirected to one domain and some are standalone.
All domains are placed on my own private server, with 1 ipadress. It looks like this, http://www.mydomain1.com,www.mydomain2.com,www.mydomain3.com etc. All with there own dns structure (ns1,ns2) etc.I use it for my personall use, some are a blog. On one domain i put info about my work as freelancer.

I am thinking to design website’s for other people/companies, and host them on my own server.

What can you give me for advise? And the totall costs?
Can i get a demo somewere, to see how it works?

Ofcourse i would like to now if i can resell it 😊

    Thanks,

    Leo aka MacLeod

Hi Leo, and welcome to the forums!

Along with the Multiple Site Manager, ExpressionEngine has the ability to run multiple domains from a single installation. The domains must be related and share the same owner. For example, you cannot use the MSM to host client sites, but you could use it to host the domains for each of your own company’s locations.

So, for client sites you would need a separate installation/license for each client. Also, please note that per our license, reselling or subletting ExpressionEngine is prohibited.

While we don’t offer an online demo, we do offer a full 30 day money-back guarantee so that you can try ExpressionEngine risk-free on your own server. You can review the per-license pricing here.

Thanks for your interest, and please don’t hesitate with additional questions!

    Hi,

I give ya an extra idea what the domains are doing 😊

1 new.portal.mybaseincomedomain for internet related services like webdesign, hosting.
    2 my hobby/freelance info website.
    3 community1.com, i own and maintain it.
    4 community2.com, i own and maintain it.

Do i need to buy a Freelance, Non Commerciall or Commerciall version, because my domains are all of that 😊

    Thanx,

    Hi, Leo -

If any of these are commercial, you will need commercial.  MSM does not work with Freelancer, so you will need EE commercial and MSM commercial for this project.  You can not mix and match licenses so all Sites will be commercial.

    Does that help?

    Hi,

Sorry i did not read all info about this, now trying to read it all.
I will think about it to buy or not, it will cost me a lot, but maybe it will give me more pleasure to redesign all the my domains/site’s 😊

    Thanks,

    Leo aka MacLeod

    UPDATE:

I bought a Freelance version, for my base domain, as a start & howto discover how it works for me and maybe i will update it to an commercial licence with multi sites etc
