Cem,
Thanks for the response, and again I appreciate the effort you put into this.
I’ve been reading posts here in the forum, and it seems I am not alone in wanting some kind of full demo of EE. I’ve seen this done with other CMSs, where people can go in and really run the software fully, then every hour or so the server clears out any changes. I’ve done some research on how to implement this, so I know it’s possible.
The point is, I really feel that EE needs a full demo site, especially for designers like me who are very tempted to jump in with EE but just aren’t quite sure about how well it would work for them.
While we’re at it, imagine a demo site where one could also (temporarily) run various extensions to see how they work! Maybe that’s a bit too much to expect, but I thought I’d throw it out there.
I could imagine a new Web site (http://www.demo-ee.com) where this kind of thing could be housed. I’d even consider being the one to start it.
What would it take to develop something like this?
Thanks,
Matthew
