    I’m new to Expression Engine (and to programming period - I know some html but definitely a newbie).  We had a programmer develop our site using EE but now that we’ve paid him, he’s not responding to any of our issues.  It’s been excrutiatingly frustrating as I’ve been trying to resolve issues for weeks.

    One issue we’re having is that some users are seein a bright turquoise background color when selecting text (see attachment) and it happens in all browser types (Firefox, Safari and IE), however, others (like me) am not.  When I select text on the webiste page, my color is blue.

    How/where do I set it so everyone sees the same blue?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi vcom,

    Can you post a link to a page with this problem so we can take a look at the code?

    Yes.  The site is http://www.aac.joinvacation.com.  Apparently it is happening to several users (but not me).  The person reporting this issue checked it out in IE7 and Firefox.  It is ok using Chrome.

    Thank you.

    OK, in the “Templates” area of the Control Panel, inside one of your template groups (possibly called “vcom”) there should be a CSS file called “style_css.v.1284781279”.

    Near the top you should see this scrap of code:

    *::-moz-selection {
    background-color: #00ffff;
    color: #fff;
    }

    Delete that and you should be all set.
