    hi there,

I don’t know what the problem is. A customer wanted to send approximateli 4000 emails via the communication tab. he has approximately 5 newsletter lists.
he then went to the “previousely sent” emails and there was only 1200 emails sent…

    is there a limit somewhere?

    we are on EE 1.6.8.
batch emails are set to “300”

now how can he know which emails were sent and which wasn’t?
or is there a time interval between batches?

    cheers

There is no limit built into EE, but the mail server might well restrict the amount of mail you’re allowed to send out. You’d have to ask the host / postmaster about it.

    Hi ingmar,

I just had a chat with the server guys, and: they have a limit of emails that can be sent in an hour.
but that limit is much lower than our mailing list is.

I’ve been looking for a setting that let’s you specify an interval of those batches?
is there such a thing? maybe in 1.7?

    cheers

Batch mode settings are available in EE1.x, look for them at Admin ›  System Preferences ›  Email Configuration

    See if that helps.
