    In the documentation for Converting High ASCII entities I read that…

    Note: The conversion happens when you submit entries, not at run time, so you’ll need to edit/re-save any entries containing High-ASCII values for this feature to work.

    I am pulling content into a weblog via the FeedGrab plugin and I have to open each entry in the Edit mode then resave to see the conversion take place.

    Is there a way to accomplish this task in a more automated manner? Maybe something I can put into my FeedGrab template that pulls the feeds into my EE that will trigger the conversion so that I am not stuck opening and saving entries to make the conversion occur.

    I am open to ideas. Thanks for your consideration.

    Thanks Sue.

    I have submitted a request.

    BTW what do I need to consider when I place a plugin loop inside a weblog loop? I haven’t done this before. Am I even allowed to do this…not necessarily with Andrew’s plugin but with any plugin.

    For example:

    {exp:weblog:entries weblog="feed_find"}
      {exp:feedgrab url="{feed_url}" weblog="10" title="title" date="pubDate" use="link|description" fields="iphone_link|iphone_description" refresh="10"}
    {/exp:weblog:entries}

    I did also post this in the CodeShare corner: http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/173455/

    As always thank you for your great support.
    Josh

    Yes, putting a plugin within a channel loop is perfectly fine.

    So this error I am getting

    Warning: MagpieRSS: Failed to fetch /home/joshmaxr/public_html/afdl_admin_sys/plugins/pi.feedgrab.php on line 1793

    Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/joshmaxr/public_html/afdl_admin_sys/plugins/pi.feedgrab.php on line 165

    Any ideas why?

    Heres my view code
    http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/173455/

    {exp:weblog:entries weblog="feed_find"}
      {exp:feedgrab url="{feed_url}" weblog="10" title="title" date="pubDate" use="link|description" fields="iphone_link|iphone_description" refresh="10"}
    {/exp:weblog:entries}

    Hi, Josh. This is something that needs to be looked at by Andrew. I see that Michael Boyink has made at least one suggestion for you..

    Closing the thread since there is now a CodeShare Corner thread.
