you can do so with a template group called ‘news’ and an .htaccess modification to point to a subdomain as opposed to mysite.com/news
Hi Leslie, Thanks indeed for your answer.
It helps us for a decision on how to setup the site architecture and for some areas the .htaccess modification would be OK.
Though - in other cases - we would use a sub-domain also and maybe specifically because of the complexity of the section, meaning it will be a few very large sections with many if not hundreds and more pages, etc .. like a huge events calendar or maybe a special booking section, plus, languages.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but for keeping the site clean and organized (backend) MSM would be better?
Second, I raised the MSM licensing question for that in another thread. So at this point in time I don’t want to double post, cross-post or cross-link, I believe that would rather be a little spumy, correct? Please inform me if I am allowed to link to another thread?
