Hi,

I have a channel with a few custom Date fields, but on the Publish page, those fields aren’t getting the nice jQuery UI Datepicker dialog that they should be.

To make things more interesting, the non-custom Date fields—Entry Date and Expiration Date—are getting the nice jQuery UI Datepicker. Screenshots attached.

I have verified that the datepicker doesn’t appear in both Mac/FF 3.6 both and Mac/Safari 5.0.2. When I use Firebug to inspect the fields, I notice that the non-custom Date fields have a class=“hasDatepicker.” My custom Date fields do not have this class.

I did upgrade from EE 2.1.0 to EE 2.1.1 (latest build) yesterday, but couldn’t tell you for sure whether this issue existed pre-upgrade.

Hi, Ruthie. If you temporarily disable all extensions, do you see the date picker then?

Hi, Sue. Sorry for the delay in responding.

I didn’t disable all the extensions, but when I changed the fieldtype for one of the custom fields on that Publish screen from P&T Pill to P&T Radio Buttons, the date picker returned. So my guess is that there’s some collision in the Javascript involving the P&T Pill fieldtype.

I’ll let Pixel & Tonic know about the issue. Thanks for your help.
