So, does that work for you? Meaning you’re logged in across the sites as expected?

No still not working, I just realised that the order of the domains in ‘multi_login_sites’ affects which I’m logged into (with and without the ‘www’ on the same domain). Is there anything else I could try? I’ve come to a dead end.

Are you using .htaccess or any other form of server side rewrites?

Yes I’ve got the standard .htaccess to remove the index.php, using the LG .htaccess plugin.

    Retro Willy,

Please disable your .htaccess and set ‘index.php’ back as your site’s index page during testing.

Have you also tried properly setting a cookie domain for each site?

FINALLY got this fixed! It wasn’t anything to do with .htaccess, I think I had some conflicts between settings in my config.php file and some settings in the control panel settings.

I decided to disable everything I had set in the config file and set everything through the control panel instead. This made it work and things still work once I re-enabled my manual config settings.

    - Few things I’ve discovered: You need to login in via the front-end, this doesn’t work by just logging into the control panel.
    - In the config file the multi_login_sites needs to be set using $config[‘multi_login_sites’] and not $conf[‘multi_login_sites’].
    - You do need index.php the end of the URLs in pipe list.

    Thanks for your help everyone!

Very glad to see you were able to get this to work. Please don’t hesitate to post again in case there’s anything else.
