    Redirects from a MojoMotor page to another page. Useful for creating a link in your menu to an external site. It’s free!

    Here’s how it works:

    1) Create a new layout (e.g. ‘Redirect’)

    2) In the new layout, put in the tag: {mojo:redirect:page}

    3) Create a new page with whatever title, url title, and keywords you want. In the description field, type in the link you want the page redirected to. Set the layout to your Redirect layout from step 1.

    Nice add-on! 😊

    One thing you might want to add in though is the ability to specify which page you want the user to be redirected to through a parameter. I’m sure quite a bit of people would find this method easier to use.

    Hi Loic,
    I’m not sure how that parameter would help. You would still need to create a layout with the tag and assign a page to use the layout. Can you give me a use case for this parameter?

    Thanks,
    Aaron

    Honestly, it really wouldn’t change much, it would just be all on one line. For example, if I wanted to redirect to the contact page, I would use this:

    {mojo:redirect:to page="contact"}

    And later on you could add quite a bit of functionality to this method, such as redirect to URL and so on…

    Hi Aaron,

    I seem to be having the same problem with mojo:redirect as i was with mojo:simpledate - would this be caused by that same permissions issue?

    hi aaron.

    excellent - would love to have the possibility of EASY INTERNAL LINKING, though. maybe just as ‘Loic’ mentioned.

    do you think you could tweak this for me?

    thanks and have a great day!

    Hi Martin,
    I am not supporting my MojoMotor plugins anymore. Please feel free to fork them on Github and add new features.
