Hi,
Since the release of Expression Engine 2 I practically can’t use MarsEdit to update my blog.
The main issue has to do with categories and it happened dozens of times. I can’t assign an entry to a category no matter how many times I check the category X box.
Does anyone have the same problem?

Which version of MarsEdit and which version/build of EE2.x?

Expression Engine: 2.2.1
MarsEdit: 3.1.2

I can replicate the problem you’re having with this particular version of MarsEdit. It didn’t happen on an earlier version of MarsEdit. I don’t know which of the two apps is at fault here, but in any case, the problem exists now. I just tried with the older version, and categories didn’t come across now.
Added as a bug.

I think the same happens when you set the status (open, closed etc.) of an entry.
Anyway, thanks for confirming the issue.

Glad to see Sue was able to shed some light on the issue. Since this has been reported as a bug I am going to close this thread for now. Please don’t hesitate to post again in case there’s anything else.
