hi. Im new to EE2, though have made a few sites with EE1.6. Im having the weirdest problem with getting pagination to work in EE2, similar to this. The pagination just won’t show up, and though I thought it might be because there were only a couple of test entries, even when I used the conditional, still nothing showed.
Im also getting the div that holds the pagination appearing after each entry, not just at the bottom. my code is:
or just:
What am I doing wrong? I know Im using snippet to make the preview, but i don’t think that’s making any difference.

Hi boshell—
Try adding enough entries in this channel so that your tag’s limit is less than the number of entries. In short, have enough entries so that pagination is necessary. Pagination doesn’t appear unless it’s necessary. 😉

Yep, I go that now! It isn’t like that in EE1.6, so it took a bit of discovery, but with further testing, I’ve realised that. Thanks so much for the quick response, though, it gives me a lot of confidence in your support system. I’m really enjoying getting into EE2!
