I’ve just upgrade a site from v1.6.8 to v1.7 and have a completely blank screen for both the site and the cpanel. Running the upgrade required clicking a number of times before 1.6.9 went to 1.7.

I have a few hours US time before the site needs to be back up, otherwise the site owner will start losing sales and be an extremely unhappy camper.

Update: Went in and disabled extensions in the config file and now the site loads. I’ll figure this out for myself and report back if anything applies generally.

User and Custom System Messages seemed to be the culprits, though I’m not sure why. I deleted all their entries in the exp_extensions table, and things were alright again.

What happens if you try to add them back in again?

Reinstalled them, everything alright.
