    Looks like a cool add-on. 😊

    Is adding different regional search engines as simple as editing:

    $this->data['search_engines'] = array(
                'google-us' => array('Google US', "http://www.google.com/"),
            );

    in mcp.seo_rank_tracker.php and mod.seo_rank_tracker.php or is there more to it than that?

    This is a hack we are not going to support as having different country keys from official release might result in database errors in future versions, but yes, you could add a country by adding a row there. Note that in SEO Rank Tracker v1.0b3, search engine data has moved into a model, under third_party/seo_rank_tracker/models/.

    Please feel free to ask if you want us to add specific countries in future releases.

    Hi Benjamin, would it be possible to add support for Australia too or let me know how to do it, i.e. see my previous comment.

    Edit: sorry, posted my reply before I saw yours.

    Australia was almost on time for beta 3 😊

    I’m going to give you the line I will add in the next release for Australia support, so you can already start using the add-on before I release it.

    Under system/expressionengine/third_party/seo_rank_tracker/models/seo_rank_tracker_model.php, add this line :

    'google-com-au' => array('Google Australia', "http://www.google.com.au/"),

    After this line :

    'google-us' => array('Google US', "http://www.google.com/"),

    Hi Benjamin,

    I just downloaded SEO Rank Tracker to kick the tires and immediately ran in to trouble.  Please see the attached screen-capture.

    I suspect this has to do with recent changes made to CI, I am running EE 2.1.4 beta.

    This looks like a really intriguing little add-on so I’ll keep my fingers crossed that this is an easy fix.

    Dear Valerie

    This tool is a module based on the CMS Expressionengine. You can’t use it without Expressionengine.

    hi benjamin,

    this is a absolute fantastic idea. but somehow it doesn’t work…
    on google.ch I get the result on page 1 and your module sais “Not in top 100”
    please take a look at both screen shots…

    I’m on EE v2.2.2
    SEO Rank Tracker 1.0b3

    when I enter the ?ACT=48 URL all I get is a “1”
    do I need to configure something else, or is installing the module enough?
    anyways: great Idea… would looove to see it work!

    cheers
    stefan
