When I hit index.php with https, the blue bar appears for a split second and disappears.
If I view source, no EE URLs are getting served with https.
If I hit a regular page, like index.html with https, it works just fine.
I’m using CarthThrob to force SSL on ONE template. But even if I just type https anywhere else, I get this issue.
Any ideas?

What version and build of EE are you using?
What blue bar are you referring to?

My own fault. 😊
I was loading jQuery via an absolute http:// link and therefore making the page show unsecure items.
In Firefox there was no ‘there are unsecure items’ message, just the coloured address bar / padlock disappearing.
