Moblog and GMail SSL?

I recently switched my email over to Google Apps. This has broken my Moblog submissions. I see that EE 2.1 supports GMail by specifying SSL://pop.gmail.com. Does EE 1.70 have this support? If so, then I must be doing something else wrong.

EDIT: I found a temporary workaround. I can forward the email to my Comcast account and then the Moblog module works with that. The reason that this seems convoluted is because I’m using this with FreeForm for submissions to an online journal.

Hi, Tim. 1.70 doesn’t support using GMail for Moblogging. Glad you found a workaround. Don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
