I would like to remove items from the “edit profile” form within the control panel.
specifically:
URL, Location, Occupation, Interests, AOL IM, ICQ, Yahoo IM, MSN IM
Any ideas?
running EE 2.1.0

At this time, these changes would require hacking the control panel files. A feature request may be a good idea here.

I don’t mind hacking. Can you point me in the right direction (which files to look etc.)

Hacks aren’t something we can officially support. You’ll want to look through the CP theme files, though, for this one. You might consider copying it to your own theme, but you’l need to apply changes each version/build to your new theme as well.
