Brandon.. you’re looking at the brehmcenter site… not ‘ovilvie’ site, right? If you click & change the ‘sites’ to ogilvie institute, then click ‘view site’ it should look fine. I’ll PM you the actual link.

Thank you guys for your help.

I’m pretty flustered with this build…. I’m also having other problems with 1) search results (same as this thread, except that solution didn’t work for me), and 2) not being able to log out/login from frontend. The only reason I’m letting you know this here is that it might help with debugging this? Yuck. I’ve built tons of ee sites & for some reason this one is becoming the most challenging! :(

Thanks for all your help here though!!!

Thanks for the clarification. If you go to Addons > Extensions and hit the large “Disable Extensions” button, those member links begin to work. You might check to make sure you’ve got the latest version of the User extension installed.

I also bumped the version in your config.php to “211” so your footer is correct now; your database is definitely correct as well.

Can you confirm that’s working for you without extensions enabled?

Thanks Brandon!! I see also that when disabling extensions it works correctly. I hadn’t noticed before. Before I had just disabled user.

However, if I enable extensions…. then disable ALL extensions manually…. the page still doesn’t show up. What could that mean??

Wait before responding….. I’m actually deleting/reinstalling each extension manually. I just got it working with everything else uninstalled except USER, so I might have either fixed it or will find the culprit soon. BRB.

I figured it out!!! It’s Doug Avery’s FREEBIE extension. But it’s not just the freebie installed, it’s the freebie installed + Ignore numeric segments = yes.

I’m so glad to figure out what’s up. On the other hand, I’m extremely bummed because the entire site is basically built with freebie/structure functionality. :(

    You can close this thread.

On one last note, can anyone direct me to where I might reconfigure the MEMBER module so that it is not dependent upon numbers?

Thanks again for being so helpful!!!

The member module is just basing off of the member id, and it’d be a non-trivial change to alter that behavior, unfortunately.

Glad you got it figured out - I’m not familiar with that extension, but am sorry it’s not working out in this case. I’ll go ahead and close this but don’t hesitate with further questions!
