Hi,
As the title really.
Id like users to be able to sign up by email then receive updates from a certain weblog.
Iv had a look through Devot-ee and there doesn’t look like theres anything. Basically its just like a RSS but through email.
They would have to be able to unsubscribe if needed, and i guess have a double opt in initially.
Anyone aware of anything or is this a custom coded job?

Entry Mailing by Silenz does this, but it’s only 1.6 at the moment. Hopefully an EE2 version might be in the works?

I’ve just setup something similar using feedburner. You can setup email subscriptions on a particular RSS feed. Users that have subscribed will get sent an automated email whenever new content is added. It’s not live yet to show you - but I’ve tested it and it works a treat.
