I’d like my clients (for whom I created an “Admin” member group) to be able to create new members and assign them to a specific group. However, no matter which setting I select, they have no drop down menu with member group names in their “new member” form, and the member is automatically in the “banned” group. Any ideas? Am I missing something obvious?

    Hi brittany,

You may want to check whether or not your member groups are security locked (by default they will be). Only super admins can assign new members to security locked groups.

You can change this setting by going to:  Admin ›  Members and Groups ›  Member Groups ›  Edit Member Group and choosing “Security Lock” from the left hand nav. Set the option to “Unlocked” and save the settings. Your admins should now be able to assign members to that group.

    Hope this helps,
    Chuck
