If the rest of the installments are as professionally made, thorough, clear and well presented, then this will be the best video series on the subject, period.

Totally agree man. This is so clear and so well made, it make it so obvious! Quite by chance, when I was staying with this guy I met on wimdu, he started to explain CodeIgniter to me but I just didn“t get it. Now I really understand what he was trying to explain to me. You should make more videos man!

Awesome, there are not enough Advanced CodeIgniter tutorials.

I plan on recording the next project I make and turning it into a tutorial on how to plan, develop, test, and implement large scale web applications.

Very true! We have a whole series and well as several ‘one-topic’ videos coming out too. Covering some highly advanced topics with CI that I feel most have never used CI for. So we’ll be sure to cover the advanced area too.

Let me know what you come up with! I will have other well known CI devs creating high-end tutorials or supplying the content for them to be made for our series.

Hey Cody. First, I’d say thanks for taking the time and effort to make the series you’re working on.

Unfortunately.. I’m not feeling the format too well. Watching the video, it seems a bit jumpy at times (like the slides jump up and down). I also have a feeling you coded this, then voiced over. I know I personally don’t like those kind of tutorials, but that may be just me. It’s hard to follow for me that way because the voice over is usually never in sync with what is being shown. It’s not bad though in yours, but it may be just my disliking to it.

Anyways, I’ll be waiting to see the tutorials you develop for higher skill levels 😊

Thanks. Yes I’ve noticed that issue after encoding. Also first 2 were more scripted episodes. All episodes from now on the audio and screen are done at the same time, so they are in perfect sync.

Thank you and hope to see you watching more =)

I’m not really seeing the point of having this website live if there’s only been 2 videos made in the past several months.

Are there plans to expand on this library? If so, I’m sure the community will greatly appreciate it.
