Has anyone seen or written any tutorials of how to set up a test driven development system with EE?

I’ve seen the tutorials for CodeIgniter from Jamie Rumbelow at

    http://jamieonsoftware.com/blog/entry/setting-up-the-perfect-codeigniter-tdd-environment,

but I’m looking for a solution for an EE site. Thanks for any help offered.

Get in touch with Stephen Lewis (@monooso) who just gave a talk at EECI2010 on unit testing with EE.
He’s developed an extension/module called Testee which could be useful for you.

Ok, I’ve seen the add-on from above and have to say it’s quite a helper. If anyone is interested, it’s at github @ http://github.com/experience/testee.ee2_addon.

Don’t forget to tell Stephen how awesome it is!

Thanks, it’s good to hear you’re finding it useful.

In case anybody else stumbles across this thread, it’s worth mentioning that I finally got around to writing up some documentation. It’s not comprehensive (yet), but should be enough to get people up-and-running.

    Cheers,
    Stephen
