Client complaining their site is slow?

    I’ve an educational client who are complaining there site is slow from within the school network.

    They are complaining it hangs a lot and many users cannot get access to basic control panel functions.

    Is there *anything* in EE that might cause problems or a slow down on some networks?

    Outside it feels ok, and I’m well aware they have a very tight network in terms of security and this may well be the issue…

    Any advice or anybody who can make an assessment?

    Howdy, Ben,

    This is very likely the school network, especially if it feels fine outside the network.

    You can try a few things.  Turning off “secure forms” and “require IP” may help speed it up from inside the network, but at the cost of some security features.  You can find those in Admin > System Preferences > Security and Session Preferences.
