staging environment

Hi,
We have our development EE install almost ready to launch. I need to create a staging environment that is not just a copy of the templates, but that has separate DB, separate js folders, etc. So that we can keep developing while the PHase I of the site is launched.

my question is….
I would ideally like to, and almost have to, put my staging environemnt on the same box. Is there any problem that you forsee if i create 2 system folders (different names, etc.) in my www folders, with 2 db’s (different names) etc?

I can see no problem, but thought maybe I’m missing something important .....
