I’m working on a spec for some enhancements to an existing EE1 site which includes a requirement for admins to perform some tasks on behalf of front-end members, via the front end templates.

I notice there is a “Login as Member” option in the control panel, which I’ve never used and I can’t find reference to it in the docs.

It appears to be only available to Super Admins. Can it be configured for use by other member groups with CP access?

Hi Darren,

Are your admins going to submit tasks via a front-end SAEF or via the back-end CP?  If front-end, I’m working on a site now that I’m using SAEF edit forms to allow another member to make changes to entries that were authored by other people.  If that’s what you’re looking to do let me know.

it’a all front-end custom module stuff. I think I’ve answered my own question though, looks like Super Admin only

I am afraid that is so, yes. Nothing built-in for any other user group.
