Hi,
Just wondering if you can shed any light on what factors govern the weighting/ordering of EE 1.6.x search results, and what, if any, control one has over these?
I understand the control I have over what gets searched but cannot fathom the order results are returned in.

I am afraid the results are not weighted in any way, and it’s not possible to do that out of the box.

Solspace has a SuperSearch module, too, which might be worth checking out.
