My first EE2 site was also my first HTML5 compliant site, SuperGeekery: http://supergeekery.com
This was back in early beta days of EE2. I learned a lot and broke a lot along the way. Also built my first add-on. Good times.

Here’s my submission:
For non-dutchies: Vluchtelingenwerk (literally: “Refugee work”) helps refugees adapt to society here, by small things such as understanding paperwork they need to fill in, but also big thing, like helping them find job. This site (translated: Part-time Hero) is part of a campaign to find 2500 new volunteers in the next two years.
It’s the second site I’ve built in EE (after my own portfolio), and blends user-content with the owner’s content. It was almost fully indexed by Google after a couple of hours, and the conversion rate (visitor—> volunteer) is around 10% so far 😊.
Exciting stuff 😊

My favorite site so far has been a MSM of a dozen microsites. Each one is themed pretty similar, here is 3 of them:

It has had many incantations over the years, but it makes the most sense in EE. It does need a little attention and love, but it’s my baby.
Being able to create a weblog for paintings and then do what I want with them was a revolutionary idea to me.
