    Hi,

    I’m trying the Moblog module for the first time and notice something is adding

    tags to entries sent by email. It does so after about every 76 characters (including spaces).

    I’m using Gmail to test so perhaps it’s that?  Or is this something Moblog does and there’s an option in the module to turn off?

    I’d rather not use the email overrides as that would be extra work for my client.

    This is for EE 1.6.9 btw.

    Thanks.

    You are sending email to the site and an article is published, I suppose? Some email clients do add a line break after a certain amount of characters, have you tried another one? A local copy of Thunderbird, say?

    What formatting does the custom weblog field you are posting to have? You might want to try “Formatting: None”.

    Thanks Ingmar, I actually found a workaround.  I wrapped the content with

    {exp:replace find="<br />"}
    {copy}
    {/exp:replace}

    On the template itself.

    Glad you were able to figure out what the problem was. Don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
