This question may be related to a resolved thread.
I have HTML set as my default mail format (under Email Configuration) and have updated the ‘Mailing List Activation Instructions’ template to have HTML formatting, but the notification email that comes through is plain text html script…
Any thoughts?

Hi rhud,
The specialty email templates are always going to be mailed as plain text, though you can send HTML email via the Communicate area of the control panel.
