I have just started getting an error at the bottom of my CP page and my expression engine is not letting me delete files, there may be other problems but this is the only error I have noticed so far. The error message at the bottom of all pages is

OK

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

someone please advise what to do next. I have cleared all my caches for a start.

Hi Adam,

That indicates an “internal server error” so the server’s configuration may have changed without your knowledge. Your host should be able to tell you what the actual error is, as it’s likely nothing to do with EE. Hopefully they can also fix the problem. Keep us posted.
