I am currently developing a blog which needs to have the option of publishing an article to all, one or a selection of websites (using multi-site manager) depending on what the user selects. What is the best way of achieving this in EE2?

What about custom statuses? Or perhaps categories?

Currently the statuses are being used for workflow and the categories were going to be used to organise the content per site. Is there a way to have multiple category groups?

Yes, that is possible.

Thanks for the fast reply. It was fairly easy in the end. I just had a category group for content types and a category group for sites. Then I assigned the category groups to the channel. Perfect 😊 Thanks again.
